Question:  How can I treat Euonymus scale?
Answer:  You don't say how bad the infestation is, but you can start by removing any branches that are heavily infested to help reduce the population, and then using a strong spray of water to try to dislodge as many more as possible.  It is early fall at this writing, and your best bet at this time of year if your infestation is fairly severe is to probably get some Sevin concentrate or ready-to-use and directly spray the plant thoroughly.  You might have to do this a few times before the problem is solved.  If you still have problems after this, you could try something like Bayer Advanced Tree and Shrub Insect Control, which is a systemic insecticide that the plant takes up and the scale ingests, but this should be a last resort.   Remember, healthy plants have less problems than compromised plants, so get on a regular watering and fertilization schedule, and do everything you can to reduce populations at every opportunity by using non-chemical means such as hard sprays of water and even hand removal where possible.  Pretty much all Euonymus have scale problems at some point, so your goal should be to just keep populations down to a manageable level where they are not compromising the health of the plant.  Good luck!
