Chervil Pesto

1 cup fresh Chervil
1/4 cup Romano Cheese
1/4 cup pine nuts - toasted
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 crushed clove of garlic

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor until well chopped and blended. This is good spread on fish or mixed with cream cheese as an appetizer spread.

 

Brussels Sprouts with Chervil

1 cup of fresh Chervil, chopped
4 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
1 crushed clove garlic
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 pound of steamed Brussels sprouts

Sauté all ingredients except Brussels sprouts over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until hot.  Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan and heat through.  Serves 4.
